What? Op 4 maart hitsen we de honden op, zadelen we de paarden en laden we onze Winchesters. Bambi Kill geeft jullie vijf prachtige dj's ten prooi, een vernieuwde Rumba als jachtgebied en een voorraad munitie van pompende beats. Hunting season is open!
FANKLUB DJ'S zijn de mooie jongens die jullie kennen van de nu al legendarische Fanklub en Blast Your Ghetto feesten. Na Soulwaxmas, Parijs, Berlijn, Barcelona, Glassgow en andere onheilsplaatsen, trashen ze nu de pas verbouwde Rumba (arme Gie!) met hun snelle, eclectische mixen en hun op muziek gezette cool. Een lust voor oog, oor en andere ledematen! ROBOPHIL is een jonge, nerdy-looking dj uit Deutschland. Alleen al daarom willen we hem aan het hart drukken, maar Phil is ook nog eens superdupergetalenteerde dj en de organisator van de coolste feestjes van het Derde Rijk, de [elek' tro:nik mju:zik] parties in Aachen. Zhè Germans are coming... Onze derde deerslayer is niemand minder dan JULES X, de man van de Vice-feestjes en Last Night A Dj Saved My Life op Stubru. Cooler dan de Cosa Nostra mixt hij electro, funk, old skool house, wave, hip hop, rave, fidget house, rock, 80's, electrofunk, italo, disco, en um... nog wel wat genres. Als je het vriendelijk vraagt draait hij Prince, maar Joan Jett speelt hij alleen voor mij. So long, motherfuckers! Natuurlijk mag ook onze eigenste lieve blogbitch DER SCHMETTERLING niet ontbreken. Hij heeft zijn strepen al verdiend met het organiseren van de Infected Music Parties en het spelen naast Grote Meneren als The Proxy, Les Petits Pilous, Strip Steve en Vele Anderen. Ik ben misschien wat bevooroordeeld, omdat ik zijn 12inch gezien heb (platen. 12inch platen, viezeriken!) maar weinig dj's mixen zo vlotjes de meest bangende platen door elkaar tot een spetterend feestje. Nieuwe electro en ouwe grunge, klassieke techno en verse dubstep, met een vleugje David Bowie... Just whoop whoop! Dus, donderdag, 4 maart, Rumba Leuven, vanaf een uur of tien 's avonds! Trek je leukste pak aan en neem je liefste vrienden mee voor een avondje dansen, drinken, roepen, vloeken en alles doen wat god verboden heeft. Wij verklaren officieel het jachtseizoen GEOPEND!
