Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important festival of the traditional Chinese holidays. In Belgium, the Chinese New Year Gala is the most important and the largest celebration for all Chinese overseas.

This year, we, the Chinese Students and Scholar’s Association in Brussels (CSAB) and Confucius Institute in Brussels (CIB), associate with the Chinese embassy, and the Xianhua News Agency, also with the help of the network of many Chinese / Belgian entities in Belgium, such as Brussels Institute of Contemporary China Studies (BICCS), China Scholars Abroad, Chinese supermarkets, Chinese forums in Belgium, etc., are holding the Chinese New Year Gala.

CSAB is inviting you to join her 3rd Chinese New Year Gala! Not only Chinese are welcome, but everybody who is interested in China, its culture and her celebrations!

During this section, you will have the chance to meet Chinese students, scholars, officials, and their friends, from whom you could get to know more about China. You will have a good chance to share yours commons with those who are also interested in China;

You will receive a list of our sponsors, helping you to enlarge your network with Chinese and Belgian entities. Chinese characteristic performances; including Chinese songs, the Lion Dance, Chi-pao girls, Chinese Zither and Tang dance, comic show etc.
